Description
PVC Fiber Water Hose is a flexible pipe with polyvinyl chloride as the main body and embedded reinforced fibers (such as polyester line, nylon, etc.). Which has both the corrosion resistance of plastic and the mechanical strength of fiber.
- Flexibility and stress balance
Fiber reinforced structure: embedded with a network of fibers, which significantly improves the tensile and compressive flattening ability while maintaining good bending properties. The minimum bending radius can reach 3 times the pipe diameter.
Layered design: usually 3 layers —— smooth inner layer PVC ensure fluidity, middle layer fiber reinforced, outer layer wear-resistant PVC protection.
- Chemical corrosion resistance
Tolerates most acids, alkalis, salts and oils (such as hydrochloric acid, vegetable oil), but does not tolerate concentrated sulfuric acid, concentrated nitric acid or aromatic solvents (such as acetone, benzene).
- Environmental adaptability
The working temperature is generally from-10°C to +65°C. It is brittle at low temperature and softens at high temperature (>65°C) and releases hydrogen chloride (HCl) gas. Anti-UV requires the addition of modifiers, otherwise long-term outdoor use is easy to age.
- Light weight and easy construction
The density is only 1/5 of the metal hose, supporting manual winding and quick interface installation.

- Temperature limit:It is strictly prohibited to use high temperature steam or liquid greater than 65°C to avoid softening deformation or release of HCl gas. In cold environment, it should be prevented from freezing and cracking.
- Chemical compatibility:The chemical resistance table should be confirmed before the transfer of solvent and strong oxidant (such as hydrogen peroxide).
- Mechanical protection:Avoid crushing by heavy objects or cutting by sharp objects, otherwise the fiber layer will break and the pressure resistance will drop sharply.
- Maintenance and life:Regularly check signs of aging (hardening, cracking). And it is recommended to replace the cycle of 3-5 years. Avoid light and moisture when storing, and do not make the radius of curl too small.
